In 2024  we celebrated a special anniversary: the 75th anniversary of our University, and this special occasion is an excellent opportunity to renew our alumni community and strengthen our ties with you, who remain valued members of the University community.

It has always been a priority in the life of the University of Pannonia to preserve the knowledge, experiences and friendships gained here, not just during the university years, but as a lifelong community experience. The renewal of our alumni network aims to revitalise this shared spirit and we want as many people as possible to be part of this inspiring and supportive community.

When I first moved abroad for my studies, everything felt unfamiliar—the language, the people, even the way academic work was approached. I remember one day, in the middle of a particularly tough week, I joined a student networking event. I had been so focused on my research and trying to adjust that I hadn't really connected with anyone. But that evening, I met students from all over the world, each sharing their own struggles and successes. It was the first time I felt a sense of community, knowing that despite our differences, we were all going through similar challenges. From that moment, I realized that seeking connection and balance is just as important as academic excellence. Embrace the diversity around you, don't hesitate to ask for help, and remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Studying abroad is as much about discovering yourself as it is about academic achievements.
